Josh is a fellow yacht owner who has been boating in the Salish Sea since his childhood. Growing up on Mercer Island, he spent much of his time on his grandparents’ 34′ and 43′ Tollycrafts, sailing in the San Juan Islands and taking lessons at SYC. Josh’s parents also owned ski and fishing boats that he learned to handle at a young age, fueling his passion for boating.
After completing law school, Josh purchased a 26′ Celebrity boat called “The Good Stuff,” and then upgraded to a 33′ Maxum 3300 called “Memory Maker” when he got married. In 2014, Josh and his wife bought a Bayliner 4788 called “Perfect Balance,” which they kept in Roche Harbor and loved. Currently, they own a 65′ Pacific Mariner named “Permission Granted,” which they keep in Ballard and frequently use for trips around Puget Sound, the San Juan Islands, and Desolation Sound with their son.
Josh’s technical background in IT has been valuable in learning about marine/yacht systems, and he often provides technical advice to his yachting friends. Although he is a practicing real estate lawyer, his passion for boats and helping people find solutions led him to become a yacht broker. He joined Crow’s Nest Yachts, one of the most reputable yacht brokerages in the country, to help clients achieve their boating dreams.
Josh is available to assist anyone looking to buy a boat, from first-time buyers to experienced yacht owners. He uses his legal expertise and industry knowledge to find the perfect yacht and negotiate an excellent deal for his clients. Please feel free to contact him by phone, email, or text anytime.
