Additional Information

Below deck you will find an environment that flourishes underway, and in the harbor for quiet retreats as well as entertaining guests.

Varnished teak interior bulkheads, cabinets and joinery speak of quality. Nine opening hatches give abundant light and ventilation through the main cabin. The teak navigation desk is to port with a swivel hair.

The owner’s cabin aft is highlighted by the oversized double berth with storage bins and lockers within arm’s reach. Two separate dressing areas, each with an upholstered seat and hanging locker, allow plenty of room to move about in this cabin.

Both forward and aft cabins have double berth an generous hanging lockers, with plenty of adjacent storage.

A separate sink and vanity is provided for family or guests in the forward cabin, along with numerous drawers and shelves for storage. The forward head is accessible from the main salon.

Builder’s Review

The Morgan 44 was conceived as an all-around performance, seaworthy comfortable cruiser with exceptional appointments.

The hull was designed with fine forward sections, full aft sections and sporting a cruising fin keel and a semi-balanced rudder.

The large center cockpit was designed with a unique dual seating arrangement which provides excellent visibility in an atmosphere of comfort and safety.

The deck layout includes inboard chainplates for close-hauled sheeting and conveniently located main and genoa winches.

Below decks is a spacious interior of varnished teak and ash wood with two large private staterooms for comfortable living.
